* Ingredients
1 Chicken - boiled
2-3 Potatoes - peeledandsliced
1 tbsp Parsley - chopped
3 cups Milk
2 tbsp Butter
White Pepper
1 tbsp Thyme - dried
2 tbsp Flour
Salt
* Directions
1.Boil potato slices in water for 10 minutes until semi-tender. Remove skins and bones from chicken. Cut into bite-size cubes.
2.Melt butter over medium-high heat. Add flour and stir until smooth. Add milk, salt and white pepper whisking frequently until béchamel boils (5-8 minutes). Add parsley and thyme and stir. Take off heat.
3.Heat oven to 200 C. Mix potatoes with chicken pieces in a baking dish. Pour béchamel over dish and place in oven for 25-30 minutes until surface becomes golden. Serve immediately.
Tips
" •Instead of making sauce with flour and butter, use 1/2 pack Fine Foods Knorr bechamel mix and follow the rest of the steps as stated.
•You can add 2-3 tbsp double cream and 2-3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese before putting baking dish in oven "
